Pilgrims

Pilgrims is a good debut novel for author M R Leonard. I have to admit I am not a fan of fantasy and science fiction, particularly those containing aliens. After reading the description, I was not sure if this book would be for me. However, my interest was piqued and I wanted to open the first page to find out if it would be or not. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I did enjoy it. It was full of action and adventure, often thought provoking, with the addition of some suspense. I never would have guessed that I would have liked an alien filled novel this much. The plot was fast paced and easy to keep me engaged. The characters were well developed and relatable. I thought it was a good way to spend the hours away on the cold, snowy days. It is probably one of the best novels from the science fiction genre I have read to date. I am going to give Pilgrims four and a half stars. I have no doubt fans of aliens, science fiction, and fantasy fiction will really enjoy it. I would be interested in other books written by M R Leonard in the future. I thought this one is definitely worth a read and not to be missed. I received paperback copy of M R Leonard's Pilgrims from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
