This book starts at the beginning and goes up to 2005. Lots of pictures color and black and white. Nice history info also. It is a big book. It is one you will pick up and look at over and over again. There is so much info. If you are a car fan it is a great book to have.
Great Book!

I have been referring many people to this book. It has been a while since I purchased a book like this and this is by far the best one yet. The very early cars and photos are the best part. And then the newer stuff (>1977 when I was born) is very interesting having seen so many of these cars growing up and now reading the facts about them. I have even had a chance to work on some of the very latest as an engineer in Detroit.

Highly recommended. I found it at The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, MI.

Reader friendly text "nuggets" accompany each of the literally thousands of rare and fascinating photographs. Oodles of forgotten manufacturer images compliment this collection of original classic-car portraiture. This is a must have for serious American car lovers.
