If . . .

If peace was a drink
we could buy at the store
I'd buy me a bottle
(a case maybe more)
I'd use it in coffee
make tea in the sun
and share little sips
with this world one by one

I'd tell them it's tasty
just try a small cup
and hand out free bottles
to drink it all up..
But peace isn't something
in bottles to find..
(though it's still a good thought
to have come to mind)..
