Pickles: The Sinking of The Sardine

By Adam Bedard

A fishing boat is sinking near Ketchikan. The crew is in the water. The storm is getting worse. Pickles is the only pilot who can hold the helicopter steady enough for a rescue.

But his paws are shaking, the wind won't quit, and a wave the size of a building is heading straight for his team.

Fear doesn't disappear. You just fly through it.

The Sinking of The Sardine is the second book in The Pickles Series - illustrated early reader chapter books about a brave orange tabby bush pilot and his rescue team in the wilds of Alaska. Ages 6-8.
