Pickle appeals to babies

Pickle and the Blocks was one of the very first books that my infant son enjoyed. I think he was entranced by the illustrations. The story is nice and short so it works well for infants who enjoy sitting on your lap, but don't enjoy longer books (e.g. The Snowy Day or Guess How Much I Love You).
