I use this book to accompany an art tour I conduct of the Guernica mural at a modern art museum in Florida. The narrative is concise but what I like about this book is the way it is illustrated. Each segment of the mural is explained, plus each of these includes a foldout illustration which further enhances the experience. The story relates how Picasso reacted artistically to the bombing of a Spanish town called Guernica in 1937 and how this painting now resides at the Reiner Sophia Museum in Madrid.
