As summer vacation ends, Sori and her mother move into a small house next to the forest. One day, while her mother is at work, Sori finds a toy piano in the closet. She hasn't played it since her father's absence made one note unplayable. Trying to play "Canon," which she used to play with her father, she hears the same melody coming from the forest.
