The presented edition is devoted to determining the specificity of translations and interpretations of piano works of the Russian romantism at the present stage of the evolution of the bayan art. The relevance of the study is that in modern bayan the practice of translating piano music is quite widespread. The practical significance of this guide is to reconstruct the bayan translation of famous works: A. Rubinstein's "Russian and Trepak", P. Tchaikovsky's "Dumka", and M. Balakirev's "Islamey". The demand and variety of interpretive bayan versions of the above works in today's context is associated with a high level of performing skills.
