When coordinating infinite variables into an achievement or product, a system is needed.The infinite variables involved in learning piano are the individual students, and the music available to play on the piano. Achievement is essential; otherwise, no satisfaction from a good resource investment wil be realized. In other words, "No Achievement = No Satisfaction". To ensure the student's efforts are channeled into an achievement (a musical performance), my system recognizes 3 levels for their music: NEW MUSIC, THE REPERTOIRE LIST (meets basic criteria for a performance), and MASTERED (every element of a musical performance executed perfectly - articulation, dynamics, balance of voices, and tempo).
