Natural extracts from plants contain a variety of phenolic compounds and essential oils that are believed to have antioxidant capacities. This work aims to conduct a phytochemical study and to evaluate the antioxidant activity of extracts from four medicinal plants from eastern and southern Algeria; Crataegus oxyacantha, Pistacia lentiscus, Clematis dioica and Pituranthos scoparius.
