Val remembers everything and does not care for Phyta...until he discovers its caches of gold and an underwater art studio better then he'd ever dreamed. He takes a symbiont, at least until his can find a way to get his brother and a big pile of treasure back to their village to find their missing mom. It isn't so easy.
