What is convection?

Maybe a tad dated. Release Date: January 2005 This is one of the questions in ASVAB Tests to get into the military. Physics is just part of our everyday culture. Most of what is in the book you will pick up in everyday living; however, it is fun to go from cover to cover to see the few things that you may have missed. Made Simple does not mean that you can speak physics without mathematics (the language of physics); you may need to read Algebra Made Simple first. It can be difficult to learn German history without some understanding of the language, as not everything translates. Some concepts in physics also do not translate into another language. One thing they did leave for simplicity is that plenty of drawings, charts, and diagrams. The good news the answer to what convection is does not require any math.

The best intro to physics

I volunteer tutoring physics to grade 8 -9 students and was looking for a book that is less math and formula intense but more focused on principles with simple examples. I couldn't be happier to discover this book. It does require a grade 8 level of algebra, Geometry and trigonometry and does not expect you be math wiz!. If you don't have a grade 8 level of math then work on math first. Mathematics made simple is a recommendation, covers to about grade 10. Physics made simple does not mean mathematically ignorant.
