Used this for a non-calculus based physics course and even though I missed a ton of class I ended up acing the course because I just studied from the textbook. You are lucky if your professor picks this book!

This was a great transaction. I received the book about 3 days after I ordered it and it was in excellent condition. Would definitely buy from this person again.

Good but not great (no answers to the hard questions)

For Physics, this book isn't bad. It gives decent example problems and explains the concepts fairly well. I like that part a lot. But then you begin doing the assignments and that's where the problems start. We all know that there are questions in the chapter exercises to which the student has access to the answers... and then there are the others problems that there is no answer guide for. It is precisely those problems, the ones with no answers, that are 3x harder than the others (the ones you don't need the answers to anyway). This leaves the student frustrated and at a standstill. My whole class relied on going to the Prof's office to look at the teacher's manual in order to figure out how to solve these problems. It doesn't need to be like this!
