Good for paleoclimatological reconstruction

Sellers gives a number of formulas for calculating evapotranspiration. This is quite useful if you are attempting to reconstruct an ancient climate - you can use whichever formula includes variables to which you have access. All I had was arboreal pollen and oxygen isotopes, and it worked OK.

Experiments, what experiments?

I read this book in 1987. It was a course text book. I loved the feeling I got knowing that I was reading about warmth, rain, snow and the like all caused by energy of our sun and it's distribution. Although, our school could not support any student experimentation and the labs we did were all on paper, the book conveys a global view. Forget marketing, turn on the weather network.
