This ILT series course builds on the fundamentals taught in Photoshop 7.0: Basic. In the Advanced course, students learn how to use selection options, rotate selections, modify images, and retouch images. Students will learn how to make images ready for the Web and for black and white print. Cover activities also cover changing layer opacity, creating layer sets, locking layers, and adding layer effects. Students will also learn how to use the Channels palette, work with the Quick Mask, apply various filters, and automate images by recording and editing actions. Finally, students work with ImageReady and save images as HMTL files. The manual is designed for quick scanning in the classroom and filled with interactive exercises that help ensure student success.
