Her dissertation focused on the relationship between hermeneutics and pragmatism, specifically on the possibility of universal objective validity. Her current interests include ethics and political philosophy. She is also researching the effectiveness of online teaching in philosophy courses, and reviewing various strategies and teaching methods used to convey philosophical concepts to an online audience.
