An Excellent History of India's Wisdom Traditions!

I found this book to be an invaluable source in helping me understand India in the context of its social and spiritual structures. It helped tie up a lot of loose ends in my thinking especially in regards to better understanding the Vedanta System. I highly recommend it to anyone fascinated with the religious practices of India.
