This book is a small concept with far reaching implications for the Philippines in helping the emergency services - namely the Police, Fire and Ambulance services. I have given explanations and examples, building designs and pointers. The ideas are clear, bold and I think this is exactly what the Philippines needs. And lots of them. My ideas simplify emergency services and allow for massive roll out using bold simple designs. This would be a new way of addressing the emergency services and response in the Philippines and may add something quite potent to the country if used as suggested. Although my ideas in this book are equally applicable to many countries in fact - I have dedicated this book to the people of the Philippines and the Government of the Philippines - this book I think would radically transform the way Police, Fire and Ambulance services are delivered right across the entire country. Often simple ideas, with a clear outcome cut through all the confusion in life - this PFAC book does just that. I believe this solution is long overdue. This is a good book to get to University design students too, to get them thinking of designs etc.
