I Love This Journal!!!

Terri Clark is my absolute favorite country artist. This journal had me laughing so hard at times. You can easily read this in one day. It's a great insight into the life of a musician. I highly recommend buying it, but then again, I also highly recommend being a Terri fan.

Great, but not for younger fans

Terri's life isn't all glamour and this book proves it. She always makes jokes and goeas in-depth on making albums, song charts and her own family for a period of 3 yyears. But...one entry about Terri being kidnapped in a taxi and the driver confusing her for "adult entertainment" should steer this book away from fans under 13/14. (Also, there are references to Terri being given cigars and beer to do with one line in her hit No Fear.) All in all, an awesome book and a priceless look into the life of one of country's greatest stars.

phases & stages

It is a great book I have read it several times and each time it gets better. My book is very worn out since it goes many places with me and I read it so much. It is a very good book. It shows the realities of a life through a public eye and it shows how rough it can be. I would recomend this to anyone!!!

Wonderfully insigtful !

"Phases & Stages" is a very intersting book because it shows a different side of what it's like to be a country music artist. Terri writes about everything, from her concerts to travelling to making records to appearing on awards shows, it's all in the book! With Terri's sense of humor and passion for music, it's a very easy read and gives you a sneak peek inside the life of Terri Clark.

The Best Book Ever!!

Terri is the best country artist that i have seen in a long time and i have been listening to her since i was 6 yrs old. I always thought that being a star was easy thing to do but Terri totally changed the way i thought. She is so down to earth and funny and not afraid to tell it like it is. In this book you read about the hardships of being a star but you also read about how grateful she is to have the life she does. You read some of the comical situations she gets herself in but you also read some entrys that really make you think. it really gives you a good look into her life and personality. If you are looking for a book to make you laugh out loud or even make you cry then this is the book for you i have read this book 6 times and i still laugh at the jokes it never gets boring!

Very Heartfelt book

I was very impressed by this book. I have seen her over 5 times in concert. Which I know is very min. to some people. But on stage I enjoy her concerts. This book showed a comical side to Terri, which we all know she is. But sometimes you wonder if it is act in front of other people. She is the same person on and off stage. You can also tell from this book how much her family means to her. How she juggles touring and seeing her family and neverless, Oscar. She is a very warm person. I was able to empathise and feel how much she really enjoys playing for people. If you love Terri Clark this is a must read book.
