Hooks and Doesn't Let Go

Dark suspense, a no holds barred hero, a strong, smart heroine with a gritty plot that hooks you and doesn't let go. With Phantom in the Night, Kenyon and Love have proven to be an awesome and talented storytelling team that I can't wait to read again. Count me in as a new and devoted B.A.D series fan.

Perfect summer read

This was my first Sherrilyn Kenyon book or Diana Love book. I know where have I been! Together they have created a fun, fast read. Not your typical romantic suspense with it's over the top James Bond action, but what an incredible read. The humor. Charming and subtle. The pacing. Fast-moving and exciting. The characters. Vividly realistic. Nathan Drake is a hero with a dark side. He moves from a prison cell to the streets of New Orleans to avenge his brother's death. Terri Mitchell is a kick butt heroine with issues of her own. Not the least of which is saving Nathan from himself. Their romance sizzles. The plot's a page turner with twists and turns you'll never predict as Nathan and Terri work to stop a world threat that could take the lives of thousands of innocent people. Phantom is intriguing and emotional. I can't wait for the next B.A.D. adventure.

Perfect...

I simply loved this book. I am a big SK fan, and I have to say this is now my favorite book by her, outside of the early DH books. I was hesitant to buy this book when I saw it was co-written, but I'm glad I did because it turned out to be the perfect example of what Romantic Suspense should be. The suspense was creepy & just complicated enough, while the romance was just outstanding. I loved how the relationship between Nathan & Terri never felt rushed, instead it progressed slowly and hotly. Terri was a strong woman but not so much that she couldn't admit that she needed help - this is important to me because I HATE TSTL heroines! Nathan was smart, hot & alpha to the core - nuff said, LOL. The bad guys were spooky but realistic in an underworld type of way. If you read the other BAD stories and didnt really care for them, please try this one, you will find it's on another level. The writing is great & fast paced & the plot won't release you until it's done.

Loved it!

Intriguing and emotional, PHANTOM OF THE NIGHT was exactly what I was looking for. It was the perfect blend of romance and suspense with well-drawn characters including a wounded, yet honorable hero and strong heroine. I can't wait to read the next adventure by Kenyon and Love!

Literary Torch!

Kenyon and Love have delivered a hit! The plotting and suspense are right on "target"! Let's have more! I loved it!!
