Armed only with biting sarcasm, a hoodie that smells like granola bars, and a flying Pharie guide named Lumina who is equal parts scholar and glitter hazard, Grace sets out to figure out why she can understand languages she's never heard, why the Chromancers keep trying to capture her, and what it actually means to be the one who "stands unchanged beneath the Three Suns."

With Prismatica teetering on the brink of collapse and a mysterious force called the Devourer drawing closer with every flicker of sunlight, Grace must unlock ancient secrets, rally new friends, and survive bizarre trials, including one that takes place in a maze of unstable color and another that involves arguing about sandwiches to power an airship.

But the biggest challenge of all? Figuring out who she is when she doesn't fit in anywhere, except exactly where she's needed most.
