Laughter Makes A Merry Heart

This is the first book in the Petticoats and Cowboys series and I found it delightful to read. I love the storytelling ability that draws you in and the descriptive narrative that makes you envision everything that is happening. If you love a strong woman and her daughters in petticoats that have been through rough times and survived without help then you will love this especially when a stranger appears and havoc breaks out. The wits and bravery of these females surpasses anything you have ever seen and has you cheering them on while you have a big smile on your face. I love the banter between Sophie and Clay and those girls and their love for him melts my heart even when their chattering drives a poor loner bonkers. The Faith element makes them even stronger as they face adversity and enemies. I absolutely loved this book and the emotions it evoked. I can’t wait to read more in this series.
