It is a reprint of the 1934 report by publications of Pennsylvania Historic Commission before the site was flooded and destroyed. Of particular interest was on page 18, The wide range of symbols certain characters evolved would be similar to those early Americans. The hypothetical identification of these symbols bear a resemblance to some modern Chinese forms. A Chinese scholar no specialized in ancient epigraphy, presented only as guesses and they support no definite conclusion. The double cross overlap with a dot inside on page 22 means a well in which water is drawn for drinking, washing and irrigation. It is essential for human survival. On page 38, on 32A Thunderbird, thunder and lightning were supposed to be produced by birds of enormous size. They produced thunder by flapping theirs wings and lightning by opening and closing their eyes. It is a direct duplicate of thunder and lightning from Chinese myth! Who else had this cultural tradition.
