Peter Stewart's Murder Cases: Case 26=not Guilty=case 27=inner Minds
Two deeply unsettling investigations. One begins with a terrible miscarriage of justice. The other with deaths that appear to have been triggered from inside the victims' own minds.
CASE 26 - NOT GUILTY
An innocent man is convicted of murder and spends most of his sentence behind bars before the truth finally comes to light.
He is cleared.
He is released.
But on the very day he regains his freedom, he dies.
Soon afterward, the jurors from his original trial begin to be murdered one by one.
What first appears to be revenge quickly becomes a far more complicated mystery. Who is targeting the jurors? Is someone seeking justice for a man who lost years of his life for a crime he never committed? Or is the truth behind his conviction and his death more dangerous than anyone realizes?
Peter Stewart must uncover the connection before another juror becomes the next victim.
CASE 27 - INNER MINDS
A series of unexplained suicides begins to emerge, each one disturbing in its own right.
But as the cases accumulate, a horrifying possibility takes shape: the victims seem almost as though they had been programmed to kill themselves.
The deaths appear self-inflicted, yet something about them feels manipulated.
Peter is faced with one of his strangest investigations yet. How could someone influence another person so completely? What method is being used? And, most importantly, why are these victims being driven to their deaths?
To solve the case, Peter must uncover a hidden form of control before another mind is turned against itself.
Two cases where justice, manipulation, and death collide and where the truth may be hidden not only in the evidence, but in the minds of the victims themselves.
