This story is based upon the scriptural information given in Acts 8:3, 9:1-30, 22:1-21, 26:9-18, and Galatians 1:17 & 18. Acceptance and rejection are facts in life. All seek the one and all strive to avoid the other. No where did these two attitudes in life clash more than between the two apostolic leaders of Christ's Church in the first century - Peter and Saul. For the first time the persecuted and the persecutor came face to face. On the one hand, emotions would have been running high. Grudges would have been held. Ill feelings would have been intense. On the other hand, in the face of such resentment and ill will, a penitent soul was seeking forgiveness and acceptance but was finding none and being blamed and rejected for all that he had done three years earlier. Yet these two opposing sides were supposed to be united in love, camaraderie, purpose, and mission under one God and Lord who commanded no less. This is the story of how those two factions in just fifteen days overcame their hostile feelings toward one another to become one in spirit and in fact, a reconciliation that would endure on earth and throughout eternity.
