Perspectives For My Grandchildren

My grandchildren are more capable, more knowledgeable and far better connected with their peers and the world around them than I was at their age. However, I have something that they can't possibly have yet, the perspectives which 75 years of living provide. The mountain of life looks far different now than it did when I was standing at its base, looking up.There is a relatively new sort of legacy which grandparents are being asked to leave to their children and grandchildren beyond the living wills which sort out the division of their physical and financial assets upon their passing. Children and grandchildren are asking for some sort of written or otherwise recorded documentation of their parents' and grandparents' lives beyond the anecdotal conversations of their infrequent interactions with each other. This book is an attempt to provide such a record in my own way to my own grandchildren. If others find it useful, so be it.
