This is a search to understand some elements of religious wisdom, to draw the philosophy from it and then to utilize the philosophy for behaviour related application in business and management.

The Bhagavad Gita is the perennial source for the Hindu philosophers, and many are attempting to convert the Gita's philosophy into guidelines for action. The present study also draws from the same source. The focus of the study is on the manifestations of personality. Personality may be observed in one's quality or traits. Personality may also manifest itself in the person's approach towards his philosophy of work. However, these are two distinct ideas presented in different contexts and are not to be associated as cause and effect though both the ideas are from the same ancient sacred text. Since both of them have relevance to understand behaviour in organisations, they are taken up here for the study.
