The importance of the relationship between people and their pets has been subject of many myths and legends and discussed in quite a few articles. To establish a connection between a human trait and a specific preference for certain animals or any animals at all, would allow for animal-assisted therapies to become more concise, effective, and proactive in practice. The goal of the present research was to investigate personality profile of pet owners and non-pet owners.
