A Powerful Tome. Should be read by everyone

Kiril Sokoloff's Powerful story of his life and the tribulations he has gone through to achieve peace with himself, is one of the most awsome books I have ever read. It should be required reading for anyone looking for more meaning in his life, I for one am sending it to my four children. It can not fail to help anyone who is fortunate enough to read it. Transformation is difficult but achievable and finally noble

Read the book in one evening as I could not stop but was so eager to learn more about the Journey from - light to gray to dark and then mercyfully - light again. However, I was especially moved by the "Leitmotiv" of compassion for human kind that was so pervasive throughout. A quote by Matthew Arnold finally makes sense to me now " Resolve to be thyself; and know that he who finds himself loses his misery ". Stealing one of the closing words from the book, because it is so appropriate to what I felt after completing it,is-Gratitude to Kiril Sokolff for sharing.

Like a One-Way Mirror

"Personal Transformation," especially for this reader with a close relative who has lived most of her life deaf, was a revelation, as Kiril Sokoloff opened this world for the first time to those of us who never before understood what it could ever be like simply not to hear. Also knowing that the author is among the premier financial analysts in the history of modern business makes it all the more remarkable. How on earth did he do that? This book tells us how. Mr. Sokoloff loves quotes, and this book reminded me of what Alistair Cooke said about Edward VIII -- that he was "at his best only when the going was easy." To do what Sokoloff has done, under his circumstances, when the going was anything but easy, is an inspiration in a time when there are very few inspirations around. Mr. Sokoloff should be very proud of himself.

I found the book emotional, stimulating and most of all inspirational.People who overcome difficulties and circumvent impediments embodie the american dream. Kiril is a model and spiritual example for us all as we navagate through our lives and the barracades we encounter. I have reccomeended the book to many and we all have reached similiar conclusions about the messages and joy the book provides.

Kiril Sokoloff is a rare individual with great insights in the worlds of both Wall Street and human emotions and spirituality. When he was faced with the progression of his deafness he found it a source of personal growth instead of becoming more angry and sad and alone. The lesson in the book is how he did this.
