The dependent variables in this study are the respondents' performance in the four macro skills namely, addition, subtraction, fraction, and measurement. The independent variables are gender, age, attitude towards mathematics, preschool preparation, parental follow-up, and type of school. This study attempts to find out the performance of Grade I in Mathematics under the Mother Tongue- Based Multilingual Education Program (MTB-MLE). It also sought to determine if significant relationship existed between the dependent and the independent variables.
