Performance indicators most valued by teachers

During the process of my training and teaching career, I have come across various situations concerning sporting talent (most valued performance indicators) which make us reflect on the situation of talent and its transformation process, i.e. talent is one of the fundamental conditions for achieving excellence in competitive sport and its identification represents the first step in a long process of specialisation which allows the right subjects to be selected. Various sport segments have devoted some attention to this theme. Besides sports researchers, private, public and governmental institutions have been showing some concern in the search for indicators and criteria for the selection of sports talents; It is within this framework and due to the lack of studies at national level that we intend to contribute to the understanding and systematisation of this phenomenon, making it more scientific. Therefore, in this book, we list a set of concerns describing the performance indicators most valued by school sports coaches in the Detention and Selection of Sports Talent in football in Matola Municipality in Mozambique.
