Perfect Circles is perfectly wonderful!

Perfect Circles is an amazing book. John shares his experiences, his ups and downs - and he speaks from his heart. The truth and honesty which he shares captures the reader and teaches valuable life lessons for us all. John teaches that we can overcome our personal trials and obstacles. Through perserverance and beleiveing in ourselves, we can become everything and anything we desire. John's book taught me this. Redefining Perfection

I'm 27 and have had CP since birth. I've been through years of therapy, tried all the meds, and read quite a few self-help books along the way, but this is one self-help book I'd actually RECOMMEND. Mr. Stuart uses his life experiences to convey the importance of self-acceptance, especially among those with disabilities. His writing is accessible, entertaining, and at times quite moving. I also like the fact that he doesn't throw Jesus into every other line like so many self-help books seem to do (no offense Christians--it's just not my thing). There are undertones of spirituality, but he doesn't overdo it, and he doesn't point to any one religion. I would especially recommend this book for teens or young adults who are struggling to accept a disability, but I also think that anyone could learn something from this book about how to treat fellow human beings. I wish I had read this years ago!

This book is one that you will reread and want to buy for all your friends and family. Inspirational, emotional, and AMAZING! The challenges discussed in this book help us all realize the blessings we encounter every day....sometimes taken for granted. This book makes you want to become a better person and celebrate life.
