Government responds by creating open and secret programs to combat population decline and maintain human input in progress.
Jane is happily engaged and finished her studies in the imaging school when she volunteered for a brain research project. The unexpected complication re-writes Jane's plans and entangles her in a government conspiracy. However, the silver lining of the fallout is that Jane gains an unusual ability, which plunges her further into the plot.
Jane tries to return to normal life but must learn to adapt to a new reality.
