Another Winner

Overall, this was another winner for Amelia Cognet. This one took me a while to get into and at times it seemed to cause me a great deal of anxiety. I truly liked Parker and Jonathan, but some of the sudden and rash decisions were hard to take. Then there is the subject matter. I detest shapeshifters. And the outright cruelty was intense. Seemed like it didn't really pick up steam until the last part of the book, but then it steamrolled all the way to the ending. All in all, this was a very good read. Had me looking over my shoulder and down dark hallways at night. LOL!
