The barriers faced by people with physical disabilities in entering the labor market encompass a very broad sphere, thus influencing the search for opportunities in the market by people with physical disabilities and their social inclusion, as these barriers include architectural, institutional and attitudinal barriers. The methodology used for this research includes, in addition to observation, interviews with people with physical disabilities, employers, associations of people with physical disabilities and the Provincial Directorate for Women and Social Action, an element of the government that deals directly with people with physical disabilities.The inclusion of people with physical disabilities in the job market as a form of social inclusion aims to awaken a sense of autonomy, self-esteem, belonging and self-worth in people with physical disabilities, as well as providing growth for non-disabled people and fostering solidarity.
