People Don't Know is a poetry book that everyone can relate to and understand. It openly discusses experiences that I have had or that people that were close to me went through. We don't talk about these things due to cultural conditioning. It is tragic, unfair, and ignorant to bulldoze over issues that are meaningful and important. People Don't Know is a powerful book that discusses trauma, tragedy, and resilience in difficult circumstances. It touches upon dark topics like war, bullying, and rape with the integrity that these themes deserve. It goes into detail and is deep and profound. I wrote it because I think that many people go through their lives being misunderstood or not heard. I think that it's important to have your voice heard.
