The trip takes a dangerous turn when Rohan is kidnapped by a local gang, a harrowing experience from which he is eventually rescued after a tense negotiation. The very next day, his return from the plant is interrupted by a city-wide blackout and a sudden, intense shootout. Abandoned by his terrified driver and guards, Rohan runs for his life and finds refuge in the home of a local family. In a dramatic twist, he discovers the family is related to the hostile boiler operator who had been antagonizing him at the plant. Witnessing Rohan's terror and learning of his ordeal, the operator has a change of heart, helps him return safely to his hotel, and a bond of mutual respect is formed.

This incident proves to be the turning point. With newfound cooperation from the boiler operator and other workers, Rohan completes his work successfully. He gives a final, well-received presentation to the European management and shares an emotional farewell with the plant workers, even receiving a heartfelt gift from the boiler operator.

Throughout the ordeal, Rohan reflects on past life-threatening experiences from his career in India, which provide context for his resilience. His journey concludes with a safe return to his family in Mumbai, where he shares the full, terrifying story with his wife and promises to no longer take on such dangerous assignments, having gained a new appreciation for his life and family over professional ambition.
