This work offers innovative reflection on the future of retirement systems in Africa and on the means of ensuring sustainable social protection for future generations. In a context marked by low coverage of pension schemes, a strong predominance of the informal economy and progressive demographic transformations, the author highlights the limits of current models of social protection.
