How the Pennsy Evolved.

Mike Schafer has done a masterful job in chronicling the history of the Pennsylvania Railroad from its beginnings to the Conrail Era. He does an excellent job in covering the aspects of the various companies that were merged into the Pennsylvania Railroad as it acquired them while building its system which truly was SERVING THE NATION right up to its final years.
