Pegi the Pig

This humorous children's book demonstrates the power of the gospel of the lord Jesus Christ using Pegi, a pet pig who the Mr. Stew, the man who owned Pegi tried to make into a son.



Pegi being a pig had the nature of a pig and did not mind wallowing in mud and dirtying his polished shining skin. In fact, he loved it.



Mr. Stew who owned Pegi, out of desperation had an operation performed on Pegi by changing his brain to that of a lamb. After this Pegi was as meek as a lamb and no longer wallowed in mud. Pegi had a new nature 



This was to show us how accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as our savior and Lord, changes us and makes us new.



In Ezekiel 11:19, the Bible says, "A new heart will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you, and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."



This new heart, new nature, is made possible because Jesus died in our stead, so that God can now forgive our sins and send His Spirit to live in us. 





Children would love reading this book and adult will find it useful to teach children about salvation.
