Real peace and joy is a life journey that we see God pursuing for us since He first created humanity. Life should not be lived governed by one negative experience after another. He promises a life filled with abundance and overflow. To get in on this abundant life, we need to know something about the One who made that commitment. To accurately know God's character, nature, and purpose with mankind, we need to see what He says about Himself.

We were created in His likeness and image, but we don't know what that image looks like. We have bought into the concept that we need to perform to bring about that image. We have wrongly believed that God is demanding and controlling. We then have set about a system of trying to please a demanding God. This is not who God is, and through the pages of this book, hopefully the reader will begin to discover who God is and who they are.
