The dental pulp is a highly vascular tissue, seems to do a variety of essential functions like dentinogenesis, immune cell defense, nutrition and proprioception cognizance, besides producing reparative, secondary and peri-tubular dentin for biological and pathological stimuli. Premature loss of primary teeth due to pulpal involvement remains a very common problem.. All pulp exposures in primary teeth must be treated with direct pulp capping, pulpotomy and pulpectomy.
