Pearls of My Heart

Love is the greatest known unknown of mankind and it kind of works a little like lightning. You never know when or where it's going to strike, but once it does, its effects are violently electrifying. I was struck by the mysterious force we call love, and as a result, I wrote the following collection of poems. I hope they reassure and inspire those who feel like they've been waiting forever for "the one" to finally come along. Be patient, my friends, and take the current moment to lean into the virtues offered by our Lord. You have a lot of power because of your free will but know that God has a plan for you, and part of that plan probably includes meeting someone who will absolutely shatter your expectations for a potential mate. I didn't think it could ever happen to me, but I was wrong. I thank God every day that I was wrong about love.
