Alaskan Navy WW2 Pearl Harbor Veteran USS Nevada

Memoirs of his service in the Navy during World War 2 as well has his life & adventures in Alaska after the war - including climbing Mt. McKinley. He, along with is 5 brothers were on the battleship USS Nevada during the Pearl Harbor attack, and were then transferred to the aircraft carrier USS Lexington, which, only 5 months after Pearl Harbor, was sunk in the battle of the Coral Sea. All of his brothers survived the war.
