Life seems so peachy...
But murder can be the pits.

Carolina Hart is trying her best to really get things cooking at the Hart Family Restaurant's catering business, and she has her hands full, preparing for a grand opening at the local peach orchard.

Her preparations are turned upside down, however, when a woman dies while Carolina is presenting the owners with her peachy menu options.

The deceased woman's family seems oddly at peace with her death, and Carolina can't help but wonder if it was just her time, or if murder is afoot.

When the grand opening celebration morphs into a memorial service, she's less than thrilled, but agrees to keep the job at the urging of the local police. Carolina never walks out on a commitment, and she's determined to give it her all, but she wonders if she might be on the suspect list herself.
