peace: poems for the spiritual journey

These poems speak peace, hope and love to the soul seeking to journey with God; to know his rest; and experience life-giving relationship with others. They explore what it means to be heard; and to hear well. To unclog the lines of communication on a spiritual and relational level; to move closer to glory.These poems track the spiritual journey in three stages: from sensing God's movement toward us; to wrestling with spiritual formation; to reaching a place of greater wisdom, if not blissful understanding. All three stages are marked by intimacy and a sense that God is for us; that perfect love casts out fear; and that our hearts are made to hear, and be heard; our souls to know peace. This collection of poems is my 6th. My other work has been published in Crux, Weavings, Presence Journal, Transition Mental Health Journal, Island Writer, Prairie Journal and The Prairie Messenger. In addition to a love for God, his word and his people, I bring a background in Spiritual Formation, Philosophy, Public Speaking and Journalism to the page.
