Peace In Kind began with over 50 pages of spiritual lyrics and music. Having decided to convert them all in a poetic style without the music, the reader gets to imagine what the rhythm might be. It also allows the reader to focus on the words that came from the writer as he was communicating with God and Jesus Christ. This is highly personal and comes from deep within my soul and heart.

Richard Parnes now lives in Northern Virginia with his wife Mila and has been writing for over 50 years. He is very active within his church and volunteer activities in a food pantry, helping to feed those in need. His hobbies include sports, reading, and gardening.
