Peace remains an aspiration and an ideal for humanity in its quest for meaning and well-being. It is a factor in development and a pillar of education. Against the threats to peace, war, violence, conflict and insecurity, the author of this book proposes an ethic based on a few moral principles: dignity, responsibility, respect for human rights, tolerance and cooperation. These principles are signals that can accompany efforts towards peace and living together.
