In Panama, strategic mechanisms are sought to make learning meaningful for students in the educational system, it is essential to strengthen soft and cognitive skills through the strategy of Problem Based Learning. This methodology transforms the teaching and learning process from the traditional memorized to the active exploration and generation of knowledge. Cognitive skills are a fundamental key and it is necessary to strengthen their critical thinking, strengthen learning strategies so that students can analyze information, solve problems that arise in the context and find solutions that lead them to explore new and innovative things. In terms of soft skills, the nature of students is to be able to work in teams and develop essential interpersonal skills. This methodology seeks that students effectively develop the ability to communicate, collaborate, make decisions, and take responsibility for their own learning process more meaningful and lasting.
