Pawsitively Service Dogs Adventures 250

By Mike Dickerson

In the fifth book of the "Pawsitively Service Dogs' Adventures," Mike sets new records and milestones. With the growing demand for service canines across America in various fields, from C.I.R.T. canines to patrol enforcement, search and rescue dogs, and drug enforcement, he is the first author to combine these skill sets in one book, all while maintaining the standard of keeping it in pictures rather than illustrations. When asked about this labor of love that has evolved into a continually and steady success, Mike's first acknowledgment is to thank the Lord. Not raising prices on his books and providing a memorable experience with teaching moments for kids and parents at a lower cost than a drive-thru visit has been instrumental in building people and things up one book at a time during America's 250th birthday.

Mike is a growing presence in kids' books over the past few years. His books always contain common-sense character-building moments that allow the reader to see as close as behind the scenes as humanly possible. The ability to be a blessing, not a burden, always presents itself when researching and studying simple ways to support communities and charities throughout his book series. The Kansas City area native has multiple projects underway; what was once a one-dog-per-year-per-book dynamic has expanded to multiple dogs each year worldwide with no stop in sight. Perseverance does pay off, no matter how long it takes.
